Bayblend FR3010 is a flame-retardant, polycarbonate +acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (PC+ABS) blend. Exhibits an excellent balance of properties such as rigidity, high dimensional accuracy and stability, excellent creep resistance, low moisture absorption and increased heat resistance. Offers high impact resistance, strength, improved chemical resistance and stress cracking behavior. Possesses good paintability and flowability. Provides low emissions and offers high stiffness, easy processing and high toughness – even at cold temperatures. Processed by injection molding. Applications include medical devices such as insulin pen, patient monitoring devices and automated external defibrillator. Bayblend FR3010 complies with UL 94 flame rating.
